Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica is
administered by the Servants of Mary, the “Servites,”
a Catholic religious order founded in the Thirteenth Century.
We welcome visitors of all faiths to share the peace
and refreshment of this house of prayer.

The Perpetual Novena to
OUR SORROWFUL MOTHER,
Begun in 1937,
Continues at 8 a.m. every Friday,
followed by Mass at 8:30 a.m.
and
Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.,
before the 11 a.m. Mass.
THE BASILICA IS OPEN FOR VISITATION:
Monday thru Friday:  9 am until 4:30 pm
Saturday:  9 am until NOON
Sunday:   7:30 am until NOON
When parking lot or Basilica doors are locked
DURING THESE HOURS, please ring the doorbell
of the MONASTERY at 3121 W. Jackson Blvd. for
entry into the adjacent Basilica.
NOTE: ON MAJOR CIVIC HOLIDAYS,  
SUCH AS
4TH of JULY, LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING,
CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR'S, and MEMORIAL DAY,
THE BASILICA IS CLOSED ALL DAY,

The Secular Order is a group of lay men and women who seek to grow spiritually by following the example of the Seven Holy
Founders of the Order of Servants of Mary.  The Founders were known for their commitment to community, service, and devotion
to Mary, the Mother of Jesus.  Membership in the Secular Order follows upon a year of spiritual formation.  The Secular Order
meets on the fourth Monday of each month.
